I called my retired brothers and sisters for lunch. It was decided that we’d eat at a Taqueria Lopez in Raymondville. We started off with some crunchy chips and mild salsa. They were so good before our meal came. We all ordered different foods. I ordered a delicious fajita taco with lettuce and tomatoes in a freshly made tortilla. It was delicious. My sister in law wanted all of us to taste her crispy tripas. They were so good. My daughter ate the Mexican plate. She had a take out plate because it was too much for her. Other hot and delicious foods were pork meat in a rich and flavory gravy and beef and tender carne guisada. Overall, I know we’ll make future plans to meet there again.
Food was delicious. Our waitress did not attend us after she took our order, no extra drink or if we were ok. She was nice thought, she was not rude or anything. The cooks did a great job on food prep.
I went to Taqueria Lopez about 45 minutes before closing and ordered the fajita plate. The restaurant was very clean, and the server was friendly, polite, and knew the menu well. The food was outstanding. The fajita was real, high-quality fajita meat not the processed kind some places serve. The flavor and quality completely blew me away. The rice was fresh and hot, not cold or reheated. Everything tasted top-notch. I can’t stress enough how good the quality and taste of the food were. Definitely exceeded my expectations.
